About the Program

My programming system was developed to combat the strains of modern life.  While training clients, I saw the same movement and postural problems repeatedly. Pain and skewed posture in neck, shoulders, back and knees. The programing is based on a postural and movement assessment, body composition analysis and your fitness goals.

Included in the Program

Postural and Movement Assessment

The postural and movement assessments consist of a static assessment and a dynamic assessment, which will observe the five kinetic chain checkpoints, which include the Foot and Ankle, Knee, LPHC (Lumbar Spine, Pelvis and Hip Complex), Shoulders and Thoracic spine, and Head and Neck. This assessment will be compared to what is considered “ideal” posture (i.e., everything in alignment). Each assessment will be documented with photography and video.

Body Composition Analysis

The body composition analysis looks three main indicators of body composition weight, body fat percentage and lean body mass. There are many factors that dictate body composition some of which are weight, age, height, biological sex, and activity level. Body composition is determined using scale weight, Bioelectrical Impedance (This non-invasive method uses an electrical current throughout the body, via the hands or feet, to measure the volume of water, fat and lean tissue in the body. The fat, water and lean tissue in the body impede the current differently which helps conclude a reliable reading of body composition) and circumference measurements.

The analysis provides a breakdown of:

  • Visceral fat percentage

  • Lean mass (muscle, bone, organs, and water)

  • Skeletal muscle mass

  • BMI (body mass index) height to weight ratio

  • BMR (basal metabolic rate) the number of calories you need to maintain homeostasis or basic bodily functions.

  • DCI (daily caloric intake) the number of calories you need to maintain your current body weight

These factors will help determine your overall health and will aid in dietary needs for weight loss more weight gain if necessary.

Program Design

The custom designed program will include movement to improve any movement or posture issues, exercises and strategies tailored to your specific fitness goals.
